Point of Sale Subcommittee

As a community we are working to make our community healthier and safer for youth in Seminole County by keeping tobacco advertisements and products away from youth. We will discuss your opinion about the tobacco zoning at the point of sale level during the Subcommittee meeting. Local governments have the ability to pass zoning ordinances related to businesses that sell tobacco products. During the point-of-sale subcommittee, we will become familiar with ways in which local zoning laws could reduce the harmful impact of tobacco on a community level.
